Many people think that thanksgiving is overrated because we should be thankful for what we have, everyday. Others may think that i'm an trying to be American for acknowledging this date at all. But i don't think we do it enough. People say that we should be thankful all the time, but rarely does this actually happen. So in my humble opinion, i feel Australia should also celebrate thanksgiving. It'd be nice to set aside a day where we can go around and say what we're thankful for. PLUS, the idea of turkey and all that stuff i see on tv has me drooling. But i am disappointed. Instead i am dining on corned beef.
So, in the innaugural Thanksgiving for Angelo; November 26th 2009, i will be the first to say some of the things that i am thankful for. For those who have the time to read this blog. Feel free to comment and do the same.
1) The latest episode of How i met your mother. Slapsgiving 2 : Revenge of the Slap. This show in general actually. Has provided oodles of laughs over the past 5 years. Big ups to Carter Bays.
2) Benjamin Michael Gabriel. Brought me back to a youth group. Invited me constantly even when i was too lazy to. Thankyou.
3) Siggggggh. Alexander Doods Ligad. I've already dedicated basically a whole post to do this kid. But he has been seriously awesome to me. Like my very own chauffer.
4) Mark Zuckerberg, creator of facebook. In this post-highschool boredom, his site has stopped me from going insane.

My brother is overseas, so i had to start his car and his bike. The sound from the two engines was a beautiful symphony that i wish to turn into my very own lullaby.
I agree with you 110%, we should be more festive like Americans.
