Warning: The next few posts will be nothing more than a recap of my adventures to the United States of America. Feel free to leave the site as this will serve me the pure purpose of archiving this part of my life for future reference.
Took off from Sydney International Airport at approximately 4 in the afternoon on one of the best things to ever leave this world; the Airbus A380. Seriously, i could've died on that airplane and not have noticed. I slept vertically, got free drinks from the
self-serve bar. And hung out in the
loungeroom. Also, if i had the foresight to either charge or bring the adaptor on board the plane, i could've actually written this ON the airplane. Perhaps the highest written blog of all time. But nevertheless, it was an amazing ride.
Oh! And the in-flight entertainment! I'm glad to say i watched 4 movies and played 3 videogames during our intercontinental voyage. Those movies were (in order of how i saw them), 500 days of Summer, Up, Taking of Pelham 123 and The Time Traveller's Wife.
(500) Days of Summer: I had been waiting for this movie for over a year. Took TOO long to come out back at home. Finally came out, but i was didn't get to see it since everyone had already seen it. But i eventually saw it; loved it. Zooey Deschanel is a total ball-breaker. I hope i never meet someone like that. Though i would like to see them. She's quite the looker.
Up: Been a while since a cartoon movie made me sad. But the dogs and Russel were incredibly cute. I wish i'm that cool when i get to his age.
Taking of Pelham 123: Rekindled my love for mr Washington, and all about him. Also, i am now craving New York City. Its so close, but so far away. I need it, i crave it, and i
will have it. One day.
Time Travellers Wife: So Zooey from
summer was pretty, but Rachel Mcadams was ...
get it? i'm speechless? Seriously, i now dream of this woman. And I have found a new goal for my bucket list; meet someone who looks even HALF as good as her. I think i would die happy. Oh, and the movie's also alright. Confusing at first, but really got the best of my emotions. *tear.
Note to Self: Read the book.
Well that was the plane ride. Many more moments to capture, more events to chronicle, more life to be had, and such little time.
